Fans are getting another shot at entering online for a chance to see one of Broadway's biggest hits. HAMILTON's digital lottery returns today!

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the digital $10 lottery will resume for the winter today, February 2, as announced by Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller today.

The digital lottery site, powered by Broadway Direct, has undergone significant upgrades since its first launch on January 5 crashed the lottery website. The lottery will re-open Tuesday February 2 at 7am EST for the performance Tuesday evening February 2. HAMILTON's live lottery at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St. in NYC) will begin again in the spring.

The digital lottery will be at www.hamiltonbroadway.com/lottery. Tomorrow, February 2, the entry period will begin at 7am and end at 3pm EST for that day's 7pm performance only. There is a limit of one entry per person, and each entrant can request up to two tickets. Entries for Tuesday's performance will be accepted until 3pm. PLEASE NOTE: the lottery is randomized and the order of entry has no effect on participants' chances of winning. Winners will be notified via email shortly after the lottery closes with a link to purchase the tickets. Winners will have a 60 minute window during which they must pay for their tickets with a credit card online. Tickets not claimed in this manner will be sold to the cancellation line in person at the box office. There will still be 21 front row tickets available to lottery entrants, and they will remain $10 each. Winners must pick up their tickets at the Richard Rodgers Theatre box office with a valid photo ID that matches the name drawn. There is a limit of one entry per person, and each entrant can request up to two tickets.

Both Broadway Direct and the Hamilton team will be monitoring the lottery closely to determine best practices, so be sure to check the website and official Twitter account (@HamiltonMusical) for updates throughout the week, specifically regarding what times the lotteries will open and close each day.

Last year, HAMILTON creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda started what has become one of the theatre community's most beloved weekly traditions on Broadway. He invited fellow cast members to join him as he greeted fans outside the Richard Rodgers Theatre before the drawing of the $10 lottery tickets, and they would sing something fun or participate in a Q&A with an unexpected twist. Before long, it grew into a regularly-scheduled pre-lottery performance known as "#Ham4Ham," playing on the fact that Hamilton's face is on the $10 bill.

BroadwayWorld previously reported that the outdoor performance is on a hiatus until March as managers at the Richard Rodgers work out safety measures to accommodate the sizable crowds in attendance, but Lin-Manuel Miranda continues to post performances online in the meantime.

The musical's producers have undertaken an effort with The Nederlander Organization and the New York City Police Department to give the live lottery an upgrade, and provide the most user-friendly, safe environment possible for the many patrons who turn up each day in the hopes of winning a $10 ticket outside the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

The new musical Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Hamilton is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography "Alexander Hamilton."

The cast of Hamilton is comprised of Lin-Manuel Miranda (Alexander Hamilton), Daveed Diggs (Marquis De Lafayette, Thomas Jefferson), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler), Christopher Jackson (George Washington), Jonathan Groff (King George), Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy Schuyler, Maria Reynolds), Javier Muñoz (Hamilton alternate), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hercules Mulligan, James Madison), Leslie Odom, Jr. (Aaron Burr), Anthony Ramos (John Laurens, PhilipHamilton) and Phillipa Soo (Eliza Hamilton).

From bastard orphan to Washington's right hand man, rebel to war hero, loving husband caught in the country's first sex scandal to Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy, Hamilton is an exploration of a political mastermind. George Washington,Thomas Jefferson, Eliza Hamilton, and lifelongHamiltonfriend and foe, Aaron Burr, all attend this revolutionary tale of America's fiery past told through the sounds of the ever-changing nation we've become. Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail directs this new musical about taking your shot, speaking your mind, and turning the world upside down.
