Infinite Variety Productions is Set to Perform the Compelling and Captivating Historical Play, 'A Piece Of My Heart' by Shirley Lauro

Set with the backdrop of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Plaza (55 Water Street), the show will take place October 10th, 11th and 12, starting at 5:30pm. The late afternoon will be filled with a beautiful sunset, hot drinks and a night of theatre that makes a difference.

Thousands of women volunteered to go to Vietnam during the
war. As no official list was kept, an exact number will never be known. Their stories have barely been told. We plan on changing that. 'A Piece Of My Heart' is based on 26 interviews with women who were in Vietnam. Ms. Lauro's play shows the friendships made during war, the love that is needed to survive and the ways people cope when their world is falling apart. Thursday October 10th @ 5:30 PM

Saturday October 12th @ 5:30 PM* IVP's "A Piece Of My Heart" will then be heading to Arlington for the 20th anniversary of The Vietnam Women's Memorial Foundation this upcoming Veteran's Day weekend. The performances will be at The Women In Military Service For America Memorial.
* Saturday's performance will include a talkback with some of the women who were in Vietnam during the war.
