FRIGID New York presents the New York premiere of It or Her, written by ALena Smith. Directed by Jessi D. Hill and featuring Brian McManamon, the show can be described as somewhere between Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and The Tell-Tale Heart. The provocative dark comedy explores the basement of a suburban home where Andrew has devoted himself unconditionally to his incredible collection of figurines. Suffering the loss of The Red One, he seeks to uncover The Ultimate Arrangement before his hideout is invaded, and his dark secret is revealed.

IT OR HER will play February 24th at 6:30 pm, February 26th at 8 pm, February 28th at 2 pm, March 1st at 6:30 pm, and  March 4th at 8 pm at The Red Room 85 East 4th Street, New York, NY 10003 as part of the 2010 New York FRIGID Festival, February 24 - March 7. Tickets are $15.00 and may be purchased online at www.FRIGIDnewyork.info or by calling Smarttix at 212-868-4444.

In the past four years, FRIGID has gone from being an unknown newcomer in the festival community, to become an internationally recognized member of the Independent Theater world. In February 2009, the FRIGID Festival saw another jump in attendance and box office sales, despite being in the depths of the recession. Numerous FRIGID participants have gone on to produce their shows in other venues this year, including Martin Dockery's FRIGID-favorite The Surprise which was selected for a special extension at the soloNova Festival and was raved about in the New York Times.

In addition to its theatrical successes, this year FRIGID has taken the crucial steps to ensure its organizational stability. FRIGID New York is now an incorporated non-profit, and is in the process of applying for tax-exempt status, adopting bylaws and electing its first Board of Directors. FRIGID has also hired its first year-round staff member, Development Director Emma Katz, who will be pursuing the funding opportunities that will allow FRIGID to continue to grow.
