The long-awaited first glimpse at the cast of characters of the Netflix reboot of cult comedy series Arrested Development has finally been released, including a first look at returning guest star Liza Minnelli as Lucille II!

In the new shot released exclusively by Entertainment Weekly, Minnelli as the outrageous Lucille Austero - aka Lucille II - sparkles as she glares suspiciously at Jason Bateman, who plays the central character of Michael Bluth on the wacky, absurdist series.

Minnelli appears in the new season of the series, though in exactly how many episodes it not yet known.

Previously, Minnelli appeared as the vertigo-stricken socialite frequently on the series throughout its three seasons on FOX.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT was created by Mitch Hurwitz and originally ran on FOX 2003-2006 before its unceremonious cancellation, though it has gained in popularity over the years and has become one of the most-viewed entities on all of Netflix.

The satirical series centers around Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) and his eccentric family comprised of his son, George Michael (Michael Cera), his father, George Bluth Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor), his mother, Lucille (Jessica Walter), his brothers, George Oscar Bluth II (Will Arnett) - aka GOB - and Buster Bluth (Tony Hale), as well as his sister, Lindsay Funke (PORTIA DE ROSSI), Lindsay's husband, Tobias (David Cross), and their daughter, Maeby (Alia Shawkat).

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT returns on May 26. All 15 episodes will be available simultaneously on that day to Netflix subscribers.
