Daniel Radcliffe Brought Onto the Indie Film 'The Amateur Photographer'

Variety reports that Daniel Radcliffe has been brought onto the independent film "The Amateur Photographer". 

The film will follow a young man in the 1970s who photographs a small New England town and finds his artistic calling there. Christopher Monger pens the screenplay which is based on his own novel. Radcliffe plays the young title photographer, who photographs the small private moments of the townspeople's lives.

No further casting is available at this time. Stay tuned for more information when it becomes available!

Daniel Radcliffe is best known for playing the title role in all of the Harry Potter films to date, and will star again in the remaining installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. In 2008, he made his Broadway debut to much acclaim in Equus. Radcliffe won BroadwayWorld.com 's 2009 Theatre Fans' Choice Award for Best Leading Actor in a Play for his role in Equus. He heads back to Broadway this spring in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING.
