Country Music Truck Arrives at Mecum Auction in Dallas

Child Safety Network ("CSN"), a leader in the safety and protection of American children for over 27 years, announced today that it has selected Mecum Auctions, Inc. to sell the famous Country Music Truck, autographed by over 100 Country Stars, on Saturday, November 5, at Mecum Dallas 2016 to take place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.

Currently appraised at over $1 million, the 62 year old classic truck has an amazing history over the past eight years. According to Ward Eric Leber, Founder of CSN, it all started at the 2007 CMA Awards show with one signature Wynonna Judd's. Eight years later, more than a hundred of country music's most adored artists have added their signature to help make America a safer place for children to live.

After the generous high bidder is made known to the public on November 5, CSN plans to tour the Country Music Truck across the country. "At every stop of the National Child Safety Tour, we will continue our 27-year-old tradition of providing the latest free child safety information and resources to help parents everywhere raise safer, healthier kids," said Michele Fumerton, National Media and Marketing Director, for CSN.

About the Auction Persons interested in registering to bid on the vehicle should do so at www.mecum.com or on-site at the auction. Mecum Dallas 2016 will take place on November 2-5 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center with the Country Music Truck crossing the auction block on Saturday November 5. Mecum Dallas 2016 will feature an estimated 1,000 American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, hot rods, Resto Mods, and more. Spectator tickets for Mecum Dallas 2016 are $30.00 per day or $80.00 for a four-day pass with children under the age of 12 admitted free.
