A State Theatre Fan Favorite, Bobby Collins is the #1 most played and requested comedian on XM/Sirius Satellite Radio. The "most natural comedian working today," according to the New York Times, returns to the State Theatre tonight, March 21st.

Show time is 8 PM. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. The performance is for mature audiences only.

Named after his father's favorite comedian, Bob Hope, Bobby Collins has the combination of the physical comedy of Jerry Lewis and the heart of George Burns creating a born storyteller everyone can relate to. He's an American Comedy Award winner, a Grammy nomine, has his own Showtime Special, and has hosted comedy shows for VH-1, A&E and Showtime.

A native of New York, Bobby left a lucrative position as vice president of Calvin Klein to pursue his comedic dream and ended up working alongside such comedy legends as Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno. While other comics have left stand-up behind, Bobby has kept going, preferring the intimacy and energy he finds in live clubs, theaters and casinos.

Collins has opened for such showbiz stars as Frank Sinatra, Cher, Julio Iglesias, Tony Bennett and Dolly Parton and was Rosie O'Donnell's predecessor in hosting "VH-1's Standup Spotlight." With more than 200 stand-up performances around the country each year, he is a show-business institution who has made millions laugh.
