The c*ckTavern Theatre of Kilburn, North London, has announced their upcoming Edward Bond Season, a nine-week program celebrating the work of one of Britain's most celebrated living playwrights.

"We have decided to mount a season of work that has only been presented once in this country or that has been produced in Europe but never in Britain. Edward Bond is also writing a new world premiere especially for us," says Adam Spreadbury-Maher, the Artistic Director of the c*ckTavern Theatre.

The theatre will present six of Edward Bond's plays, a collection of work that spans six decades of theater. The season will run from September 14th through November 13th. The selected works that have been announced are The Pope's Wedding (1962), The Fool (1976), Red, Black and Ignorant (1985) Olly's Prison (1995) and The Under Room (2005). Bond has also been commissioned to write a new piece for the theatre, which, as of yet, remains untitled.

Tickets for individual shows are priced from £5-£12. Season tickets are available and are offered at a rate of £48-£58). For tickets, contact the box office at 0844 477 1000.
