5th Avenue Theatre just announced via its Facebook page that Chryssie Whitehead will star as 'Cassie' in A CHORUS LINE this fall, running September 3 - 28, 2014. Whitehead originally starred in the 2006 Broadway revival of the musical as 'Kristine'.

In their announcement, 5th Avenue wrote: "You probably remember Chryssie as the ravishing Lola in our production of Damn Yankees a couple seasons back! We can't wait for her to come back this fall!"

A CHORUS LINE is the musical for everyone who's ever had a dream and put it all on the line. Winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this singular sensation is one of the longest-running Broadway musicals ever. Now A Chorus Line returns to The 5th. This mega-hit is simply an emotional experience with raw stories and stunning dance that follows a cast of hopefuls in search of their dreams. A Chorus Line features some of musical theater's favorite music including "I Can Do That," "What I Did For Love," "At The Ballet," and "One."

A CHORUS LINE was conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett with Book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, Music by Marvin Hamlisch, Lyrics by Edward Kleban and Co-Choreographed by Bob Avian.
