A Sign Of The Times, A New '60s Musical headed to Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre this summer, will hold a private industry reading on April 28-29.

The cast of the staged presentation will feature Chilina Kennedy (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) as Cindy, Ryan Silverman (Side Show) as Brian, Bryan Fenkart (These Paper Bullets, Memphis) as Dennis, Marrick Smith (Fun Home) as Matt, and Crystal Lucas-Perry (The Convent of Pleasure; Celia, The Slave) as Tanya.

The performing company also includes Alet Taylor, Lori Ann Ferreri, Lauren Nicole Chapman, Melessie Clark, Lindsay Moore, David Jennings, Dave Schoonover, Keven Quillon, Drew Franklin, and Jeff Kuhr.

The cast of the Goodspeed production, set to run July 29-September 4 in Chester, Connecticut, will be announced shortly.

A Sign Of The Times has an original book by Bruce Vilanch, based on an original story by Richard Robin. The reading will be Directed by Gabriel Barre, with Choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter and Musical Supervision by Joseph Church. The producer is Richard Robin, president of Wells Street Productions LLC.

1965. The pulse of a changing era lures Cindy from Middle America to the swirl of Manhattan. Unexpected friends, lovers, careers and conflicts are all a subway ride away in a pop-fueled new musical featuring songs made famous by Petula Clark and other hit-makers of the day. "I Know a Place," "The Shoop Shoop Song" and "If I Can Dream" are among the fabulous favorites on an eye-opening ride from innocence to experience. Forget all your troubles, forget all your cares-go "Downtown" and find out who you are!
