Mark Dominik, the general manager of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the past five seasons (2009-13), is joining ESPN as an NFL Front Office Insider. He is expected to make his debut on Thursday, March 27.

Dominik is the newest addition to the ESPN year-round, weekday pro football news show NFL Insiders (M-F, 3:30 p.m. ET) comprised of former front office executives and some of the industry's most seasoned NFL reporters. Hosted by Suzy Kolber, other regulars include Adam Schefter, Chris Mortensen, Bill Polian, Ed Werder and Louis Riddick. Just last month, Dominik spent two days at ESPN's Bristol, Conn., studios as a guest analyst.

In addition to appearing on NFL Insiders, Dominik will also contribute to NFL Live, SportsCenter, ESPN Radio and ESPN Insider on ESPN.com.

"Mark has almost two decades of experience moving up the ranks in an NFL organization, so he's well-versed in scouting, free agency, player development and so many of the issues we delve into each day on NFL Insiders," said Seth Markman, senior coordinating producer for ESPN's NFL studio shows. "He adds another credible voice to our team and will make us even better."

Dominik added, "I am excited to join ESPN and look forward to sharing my perspective on the kinds of issues and decisions general managers face daily within their organizations."

Dominik spent 19 years with the Buccaneers from the time he was first hired as a Pro Personnel Assistant in 1995. After being promoted to Pro Scout in 1998, Dominik moved into the Pro Personnel department two years later where he served as coordinator and then a director for a total of nine years, including the Buccaneers' Super Bowl championship season in 2002 when Jon Gruden was head coach. Dominik was named general manager in January 2009.

A native of St. Cloud, Minn., Dominik graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor of Science in sport management.
