Thanksgiving might be over, but that doesn't mean that there isn't anything left to be thankful for this year! Earlier this week, BroadwayWorld brought you entries from over 60 of Broadway's biggest stars on what they are counting their blessings for (CLICK HERE to check out the full list), but now we turn the tables and share with you the reasons why we are thankful this holiday season.

A slew of Broadway favorites will return to the stage in the upcoming theatre season, including LaChanze, who will star in If/Then (set to open at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on March 27, 2014).

Her Broadway return: On the verge of turning 40, Elizabeth (Idina Menzel) moves back to New York City, the ultimate city of possibility, intent on a fresh start - new home, new friends, and hopes for a resurgent career. But even in her carefully planned new life, the smallest decision or most random occurrence will impact her world in ways she never dreamt possible. Set against the ever-shifting landscape of modern day Manhattan, If/Then is a romantic and original new musical about how choice and chance collide and how we learn to love the fallout. If/Then, the world premiere musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creative team behind Next To Normal, Tom Kitt (music),Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director), is currently playing at The National Theatre in Washington, D.C. before heading to Broadway.

Her credits: Broadway: The Color Purple (2006 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical), Once on This Island (Tony and Drama Desk nominations), Ragtime, Company and Uptown It's Hot. Off-Broadway: Dessa Rose (Obie Award and Drama Desk Award nomination), Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin(Drama Desk nomination) and Inked Baby. Other theater credits:The Wiz, Baby, From the Mississippi Delta and Spunk. Film credits include: The Help, Side Effects, Breaking Upwards,Confessions of a Shopaholic, Disney's Hercules, For Love or Money and Leap of Faith.
