TV: KINKY BOOTS Cast Sings 'God Bless America' at Mets Game!

The Kinky Boots cast headed to Citi Field on Monday , September 21 to perform an acapella rendition of 'God Bless America' at the beginning of the New York Mets vs. the Atlanta Braves. Check out the full song below!

Kinky Boots is a huge hearted and high heeled show, inspired by the true events of struggling shoe factory in Northampton and how the owner turned its fortunes around with the unlikely but spectacular help from Lola, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos. The show is a musical celebration about the friendships we discover, and the belief that you can change the world when you change your mind.

The stars of Kinky Boots currently include Billy Porter (Lola), Andy Kelso (Charlie), Haven Burton (Lauren), Daniel Stewart Sherman (Don), Courtney Wolfson (Nicola), and more. The show features a book by Harvey Fierstein, a score by Cyndi Lauper, and direction/choreography from Jerry Mitchell.
