Here's what NOT to do at an audition, straight from five Broadway divas.

Kate Baldwin, Kristin Chenoweth, Victoria Clark, Rebecca Luker, and Susan Stroman took a moment to share their advice with Megan Loughran, contributor for Ryan Scott Oliver and David Davila's Crazytownblog.

Their words of wisdom:

Kate Baldwin (known for BIG FISH and FINIAN'S RAINBOW): "Don't wear character shoes to an audition. Wear real shoes. The nicer the better."

Kristin Chenoweth (who just finished her run in ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY): "Don't chit-chatter like a silly bird-person."

Victoria Clark (from GIGI and CINDERELLA): "Don't freak out if the person before you is singing your exact same song."

Rebecca Luker (of CINDERELLA and MARY POPPINS): "Don't apologize for anything."

Susan Stroman (Tony-winning director of THE PRODUCERS): "Don't sing your love song to the director."
