Accomplished glass artist Alison Sigethy (http://www.alisonsigethy.com) will be showcasing her signature Sea Core sculptures at this year's Top Designs & Sounds event a benefit for the world-famous Nantucket Music Festival. Top Designs & Sounds 2014 will feature an assortment of the most forward-thinking, elegant creations for home interiors and is destined to be a can't-miss event for discriminating homeowners in the Greenwich area.

Sigethy's captivating Sea Cores are the result of her innovative approach to art and design, and are well-matched with other luxury designs included in this year's event. "There is something exciting about working directly with a client to create a special piece exclusively for them," explains Sigethy. "I feel very strongly that each of my sculptures, and every component in them, be unique. So naturally, I'm thrilled to be included in an event where there is such an emphasis on custom work."

The Christopher Peacock showroom, a luxury furniture and home design brand headquartered in Greenwich, CT, will play host to Top Designs & Sounds 2014. The event is planned and organized by International Luxury Media, a global event planning company headed by creative powerhouse CEO Gina De Franco. De Franco's team searched far and wide for one-of-a-kind creations that would complement the event's theme.

"When we first saw Alison Sigethy's work, we were impressed by her unique vision as well as the impeccable quality that was clearly on display," explained De Franco. "Just as Christopher Peacock exemplifies original, flawless crafting with his American-made cabinetry, so too does Sigethy with her Sea Core sculptures. Balanced and symmetrical, while still being fluid, you simply can't take your eyes off them."

She added: "We are very proud to debut Alison's completely original art pieces at Christopher Peacock. The nautical theme of the Sea Cores makes perfect sense in the context of the Nantucket Music Festival."

Top Designs & Sounds 2014 at the Christopher Peacock showroom in Greenwich, Connecticut will be held on May 1 from 5:45 to 8 pm.
