Steve McQueen's harrowing drama 12 YEARS A SLAVE led the nominations of the Gotham Independent Film Awards, announced this morning, Thursday, October 24th. The film will be up against the Coen brothers' "Inside Llewyn Davis" Richard Linklater's "Before Midnight," and indie entries, David Lowery's "Ain't Them Bodies Saints" and Shane Carruth's "Upstream Color" in the Best Feature category.
