WEST END SINGS Kicks Off with Whitney Houston

West End Sings is the latest addition to the West End social calendar, combining the music of one iconic recording artist with a selection of the best talent London's theatre scene has to offer. Each concert will support a charity chosen for their links to the artist we are celebrating.

The first concert in the series is 'West End Sings Whitney Houston' on Sunday 20th May, 7.30pm at the London Cabaret Club, Holborn supporting Women's Aid. Featuring performers from top West End shows such as Hamilton, Young Frankenstein, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Tina: The Musical, Aladdin and Kinky Boots. The cast includes; Summer Strallen, Sabrina Aloueche, Liam Tamne, Luke Bayer, Amy Lennox, Nathaniel Morrison, Aaron Lee Lambert, Jenny Fitzpatrick, Lara Denning, Damien Winchester, Rachael Archer, Charlotte Riby, Lucie Shorthouse and more with a live band led by Mark Crossland. The evening will be hosted by Norman Pace who can currently be seen as Wilbur Turnblad in Hairspray.

Bandit Squirrel Productions, the Producer of the event, said "We are thrilled to be launching this series with such an incredible cast singing the music of Whitney Houston like never before. The theatre has always been used as a platform to help great causes and in selecting the charities we support based on the artist we are celebrating, we hope to continue that relationship."
