ThisEgg and Stefanie Mueller in Association with Hoipolloi and Pleasance Present UNCONDITIONAL What Josie wants for her mother, and Steffi wants for her daughter is the same - a better world. ThisEgg founder Josie Dale-Jones collaborates for the first time with her parents, Hoipolloi Theatre co-founders Stefanie Mueller and Shôn Dale-Jones, in a joyous celebration of equality and liberation between a mother and her grown up daughter.

UNCONDITIONAL is about fighting the fight that needs to be fought, slaying the monsters and standing your ground as Josie and Steffi unite to imagine a future where gender equality is established.

Josie Dale-Jones said "Where there are such extremities in the fight for equality for men and women, it can be difficult to know where to stand. UNCONDITIONAL has been motivated by the polarisation of voices in the debate, and the fear of further division they could cause. The world is in turmoil, and there are growing concerns from both generations, mine and my mum's. We wonder what a world might look like that a mother would be happy to set her daughter off into."

ThisEgg was founded in 2010 by a group of young women passionate about creating and producing their own work. Since then, Josie Dale-Jones has continued to self-produce shows with a variety of artistic collaborators under ThisEgg. ThisEgg makes intimate theatre that connects with audiences, moving them to laugh, cry and imagine; prompting them to ask big questions about the world we live in. ThisEgg devises original work which mixes theatrical styles, celebrating different forms of entertainment. Previous shows included Goggles (2016) which won the NSDF Emerging Artists Award and Me & My Bee which was awarded the inaugural Les Enfants Terrribles Stepladder Award 2017 and shortlisted for the NSDF Edinburgh Emerging Artists Award, The Fringe Sustainable Practice Award and Brighton Award for Excellence.
