Following the sell-out success of The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Young Vic), Joe Hill-Gibbins directs an outstanding cast including Deborah Findlay (Cranford, BBC), Sinead Matthews (Happy-Go-Lucky, Mike Leigh), Leo Bill (Alice in Wonderland, Tim Burton) and Kyle Soller (A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Globe) in Tennessee Williams' first great Broadway success.

The Glass Menagerie premiered in Chicago in 1944, before transferring to Broadway where it won the New York Drama Critics Circle Award. This twentieth century masterpiece comes to the Young Vic with a new score by Oscar and Golden Globe award-winning composer Dario Marianelli.
Tom, a young would-be poet struggles to support his overbearing and sentimental mother and his delicate, obsessive sister. The subject of this deeply touching, autobiographical play is the most fragile of all human emotions - hope.
