TOP HAT Comes to London for Strictly Limited Run

Geoids Musical Theatre have announced their new production, and the London amateur premier, of the musical Top Hat which comes to the Bridewell Theatre from 31 October to 4 November 2017.

Top Hat brings the glamour of Hollywood's golden age and the glorious, tap-dancing magic of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers to the stage in one of the greatest dance musicals of all time. Packed full of Irving Berlin's greatest hits including Cheek to Cheek, Top Hat, White Tie & Tails, Let's Face the Music & Dance and Puttin' on the Ritz, Top Hat is based on the RKO Motion Picture of the same name, which was released in 1935, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture. It tells the story of Broadway sensation Jerry Travers, who dances his way across Europe to win the heart of society girl Dale Tremont.

This production is directed by Tal Hewitt, with choreography by Charlie Welch and Lemington Ridley, and musical direction by Paul Cozens.

Geoids Musical Theatre have most recently been represented in London with their productions of A Chorus Line, My Fair Lady, On the Twentieth Century, Hair, and the Central London amateur premiere of Sunset Boulevard, which ran at the Bridewell Theatre in October 2015.
