When were you happiest?

To be honest, right at this moment I feel pretty happy. Started rehearsals today for You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, my show 'Have You Met Miss Jones?' is gaining some momentum, I might have some exciting news soon so watch this space. And also I have a wonderful man at the moment who makes me very happy.

What is your greatest fear?

Getting cancer. I lost my mum when I was 15 to breast cancer and I want to have children and watch them grow up, and see them get married and have children of their own. So yeah, dying young. I miss you, Mum!

What is your earliest memory?

Watching Sesame Street on my mum's back. She'd lie on the sofa watching Neighbours at lunchtime, then we'd switch over to Sesame Street and I'd lie on her back.

What would be your fancy dress costume of choice?

Something sexy, like a burlesque dancer or something. Basque, heels, fishnets!

Which living person do you most admire, and why?

Beyonce! She is just the ultimate mega star, like the next Tina or Michael.

Property aside, what's the most expensive thing you've bought?

A handbag from Liberty? £500 on a handbag....eek. And it's broken now. Ugh.

What is your most treasured possession?

A notebook my mum wrote for me when she was ill, it's full of messages of love and support.

Where would you like to live?

Ooh, Italy, or San Francisco?

What makes you unhappy?

People being rude, or judging. Or my family struggling. I wish I could click my fingers and fix everyone!

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

My tummy. I don't mind my big girl curves anywhere else, just my tummy.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Chocolate. In any form. Yum! Just eaten a Dairy Milk as I write this.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

"babes"

What is the best job you've done?

Hairspray! What an honour and a life-changing experience. I feel very humbled when I think back on it.

Cat or dog?

Both! I've had two cats, but I'd like a dog next!

To whom would you most like to say sorry?

My first boyfriend Lewis, I was stupid, and I hurt him a lot. I think about it all the time; Lewis, if you read this please accept my deepest apology.

Who is your best friend in theatre?

I have so many! One of the nicest people I've ever met and who is my new show mum is Maureen Nolan. She is one special lady.

Which living person do you most despise?

I don't despise anyone. The London looters made me very angry, though. It was such a shame to see our beautiful amazing city being destroyed when it's taken us so long to make it pretty!

If you could go back in time, where would you go?

To the day my parents got married, I think that would've been an amazing day. I did see my dad marry my stepmum though, which was an awesome day!

When did you last cry?

Well, I'm a crier, so probably like five minutes ago.

What single thing would improve the quality of your life?

Things are on the up, I'm in a really good place. I just want to be happy.

Where would you most like to be right now?

In a hot bath, actually, with candles and smellies. I'm tired!

Tell us a secret.

Before auditioning for Hairspray, I'd never really heard of the show. Oops. Good job I googled the image!

Leanne has a solo show Have You Met Miss Jones?, and stars in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown at the Tabard Theatre from Oct 4.
