Paul Michael Glaser to Star as 'Tevye' in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF UK Tour

According to the Daily Mail, Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky and Hutch) will play 'Tevye' in Fiddler on the Roof at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, directed by Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood.

The show, produced by John Stalker, will head out on a UK tour, stopping at Theatre Royal, Newcastle, Festival Theatre, Edinburgh and the Marlowe Theatre in Canturbury.

Glaser played 'Perchik' in the 1971 film version of Fiddler, and appeared on Broadway in Butterflies Are Free in 1969. He played 'Captain Hook' in Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up at the Churchill Theatre in Kent.

His TV credits include Starsky and Hutch, NBC's Third Watch, The Waltons, The Streets of San Francisco and The Rockford Files. On the big screen, Glaser has also appeared in The Running Man, The Cutting Edge, Something's Gotta Give and more. Glaser also directed episodes of TV's Miami Vice and Judging Amy and the movie Kazaam.
