New Production Of Chekhov's THE SEAGULL Will Have Limited Run In London Following on from Theatre Collection's season at The Lion and Unicorn Theatre they present Anton Chekov's THE SEAGULL, a story of love, lust, delusion and betrayal. This version is adapted by Victor Sobchak, artistic director of Theatre Collection. The production will have a limited run from 11 to 17 June, with a press night on Tuesday 12 June 2018.

THE SEAGULL is adapted to be a timeless tale that highlights the tragicomedy genre, where cruelty meets farce and hypocrisy meets honesty. It dramatises the romantic and artistic conflicts between four characters: the famous intellectual writer Boris Trigorin (Rob Anthony), the naive Nina (Eleanor Hurrell), the fading actress Irina Arkadina (Ciara Pouncett), and her son the symbolist playwright Konstantin Tréplev (Dominic Debartolo). The cast also includes Simon D'Aquino, Saddie Peperell, Sarah Dorset, Thomas Whitecomb, Lucien Morgan and Monty Lloyd.

Theatre Collection was founded in 2009. The company is an expansion of the highly acclaimed 'ART-VIC'(Anglo-Russian Theatre) and 'Act Provocateur International' which has a history spanning for 25 years. They have performed at 12 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals and in various National and International festivals in USA, Africa, Europe and Russia.
