Hollywood Actor Luke Perry best known for his role as Dylan in Beverly Hills 90210 stars alongside Gavin and Stacy star JoAnna Page in this year's spectacular pantomime Dick Whittington at Milton Keynes Theatre brought to you by panto sponsors Robinsons and First Family Entertainment. The production will close on January 16.

Following in the footsteps of fellow Americans, Henry Winkler, Pamela Anderson, Mickey Rooney and Steve Guttenberg, Luke is delighted to be coming to Milton Keynes Theatre this Christmas for 5 weeks to play the panto villain you'll love to hate - the dastardly King Rat. "This will be my first pantomime and I feel privileged to be taking part in something that is such a great British institution. My children are going to love seeing me being booed off the stage! I've loved my live theatre experiences on Broadway and in the West End, and am thrilled to be taking to the stage again at one of the UK's most successful regional theatres".

Luke will be joined on stage by the ‘lush' JoAnna Page playing Dicks beautiful love interest Alice Fitzwarren. Most-loved for her portrayal as Stacey Shipman in the BAFTA award-winning BBC comedy Gavin and Stacey, Joanna is no stranger to Pantomime having starred as Cinderella for the last two years. "I love panto its just so much fun. It's brilliant to see every generation of a family come along and have a really great time together. I'm really at home on the stage and love all of the singing, dancing and audience interaction that comes with panto. I'm so excited to be sharing the stage with a Hollywood heart throb, even though he is supposed to be the baddy!"

And if that wasn't enough, Britain's Got Talent fans can also look forward to a special guest appearance from the shows favourites Stravros Flatley who are sure to bring the house down night after night.

Chief Executive of the theatre Elizabeth Adlington says "This brand new production of Dick Whittington promises to be the very best panto experience for you and all of your family. We're delighted to welcome Luke Perry, JoAnna Page and Father and Son duo Stavros Flately to our cast, and as one of the most traditional fairy tales Dick Whittington is guaranteed to provide all the panto magic and fun your family has come to expect at Milton Keynes Theatre".
Make sure you join Dick Whittington and his trusted feline companion on their fun-filled quest for fame and fortune. Will they find the streets paved with gold? Will Dick win the hand of the lovely Alice? Will he defeat the boo-able King Rat? You will have to get down to Milton Keynes Theatre this Christmas to find out! Featuring all the traditional pantomime ingredients; sensational songs, a live band, dazzling dance routines, slapstick comedy and bags of audience participation - Dick Whittington is a classic tale of rags to riches, and is guaranteed to be full of wonder and delight for audiences of all ages!
