Louise Dearman Performs A Concert at Leicester Square Theatre 11/7

West End star Louise Dearman, currently starring as Glinda in "Wicked", is to appear in concert at Leicester Square Theatre on Sunday November 7.

This is a chance to get up close and personal with one of the finest singers in the West End at one of London's most intimate, 400-seat music venues.

She will be performing such musical theatre favourites such as "The Winner Takes It All" and "The Perfect Year" along with some brand new material never heard before.

Louise, who recently starred as Eva Perón in "Evita", has released one solo album "You And I". Her other credits include Grizabella in "Cats", Sarah Brown in "Guys and Dolls" (National tour), Mimi in "Guys and Dolls" (PiccadillyTheatre), Lucy Harris in "Jekyll and Hyde" (National tour), Narrator in "Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (National tour), Jan in "Grease" (National tour and Victoria Palace Theatre), Debbie in "Debbie Does Dallas" (Edinburgh festival) and "Kiss Me Kate" (Victoria Palace Theatre).

About Leicester Square Theatre

After firmly establishing itself as one of?London's premiere comedy venues, Leicester Square Theatre is branching out to become a major destination for live music acts. The 2010 'Live from Leicester Square Concert Series' got off to an amazing start on July 13 with three sold-out exclusive UK?gigs by Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, Macy Gray.

Leicester Square Theatre has an illustrious history as a live music venue. As the Cavern in the Town in the Sixties, Beat group The Small Faces had a regular residency. In the 1970s, as the Notre Dame Hall, The Rolling Stones played there along with The Who. But punk ruled supreme and the venue hosted some riotous early landmark gigs by The Sex Pistols. The Clash previewed their "London Calling" material there in 1979 before recording the seminal album the following month. It opened as a West End theatre as The Venue, with the world premiere of Boy George's musical, "Taboo" on January 29, 2002.

The 'Live from Leicester Square' banner firmly places music back at the heart of the West End with Leicester Square Theatre one again one of London's premier music venues.
