The Daily Mail reports that Olivier Award winners Janie Dee and David Bedella, as well as Daniel Crossley, Caroline Sheen and Damian Humbley (Merrily We Roll Along) will be PUTTING IT TOGETHER in a new production from producer Robert Mackintosh and director Alex Parker at the St. James this winter.

This production signals the West End transfer of the recent workshop version at Guildford's GLive Studio, during which the creative team re-worked the show "in a subtle way." Alastair Knights directed the same cast there in September.

In PUTTING IT TOGETHER, two couples -- one middle-aged and married, the other young lovers just starting out -- reflect through the songs of Stephen Sondheim on the complexities that make up modern relationships, while at a cocktail party in New York City.

The revue will open at the St. James Theatre on January 14 and runs through February 1, 2014.
