International Premiere Of Tom Powell's LITTLE ECHOES Comes to The Hope Theatre In Spring 2019

Tom Powell's latest fast-paced drama sees its international premiere at Islington's award-winning The Hope Theatre.

'Little Echoes' will be presented by Pentire St Productions and directed by Stephen Bailey (European Theatre Convention Scholar 2018), performing Feb-Mar 2019.

Shajenthran's brother has had acid thrown in his face and Shaj is out for revenge. Danielle's teenage crush on a pop idol develops into an illicit relationship, 'professional mentoring' becoming something much darker. June has spent twenty years serving the private needs of the super wealthy, but her new assignments confront her with the questions she's spent a lifetime running from.

When their paths cross it is not something any of them will forget. Filled with love, coercion, loneliness and obsession, Little Echoes takes you through the city as you've never seen it before. A city of deep shadows, darker intentions, and where anything can change in the night...

Tom Powell is winner of the OTR National Radio Drama Award, the Footlights' Harry Porter Prize, and was shortlisted for the Soho Young Writers Award. His previous play, 'I Dare You' is on tour this Autumn. Pentire St Productions previous work includes 'Spiders' at the Tristan Bates Theatre, the Innovation Award winning 'Rubber' at VAULT Festival 2018 and Edinburgh Fringe 2016, 'Richard III' at the Barons Court Theatre and a wealth of educational workshops across London and the South East.

Led by Matthew Parker (Best Artistic Director, Off West End Awards 2017), The Hope Theatre continues to programme a diverse selection of bold new theatre that offers young companies the chance to breakthrough into the Off West End theatre scene.
