Elaine Paige Will Make 'Dress Circle' Appearance 11/15

Dress Circle has announced that Elaine Paige, star of West End and Broadway, will be making a personal appearance at Dress Circle. 57/59 Monmouth Street to sign copies of her new book 'Memories' on Saturday 15th November 2008 at 1.00pm - 2.00pm

Celebrating 40 years on the stage, Elaine Paige, the great star of West End and Broadway Musicals, now tells the remarkable story of her life in words and pictures.

In Memories Elaine takes us through her extraordinary career from her earliest stage appearances with Joan Littlewood’s groundbreaking company in London’s East End to her many starring roles in some of the biggest musicals of modern times, including Cats, Evita, Grease, Piaf, Sunset Boulevard and The Drowsy Chaperone, sharing moments of joy and regret.

Illustrated with an extraordinary collection of images in colour and black and white, both commissioned for this book and drawn from her own archive, Memories depicts Elaine in some of her most iconic roles, but also shows her away from the stage, in childhood, with family and friends, and on her travels.
