'Hatfields & McCoys' Returns to Theatre West Virginia this Summer

By: May. 10, 2018

A story nearly as old as the hills where it takes place, Hatfields & McCoys makes its return to Theatre West Virginia this summer. It's a modern-day Romeo and Juliet, a story of family and fighting and politics, and how you can always seek redemption. Join Theatre West Virginia this July for the beloved classic outdoor drama, Hatfields & McCoys. It's the story of Devil Anse Hatfield and his sons and their decades long feud with Ran'l McCoy and his sons. A story that made headlines in "The New York Times," it had people from all over coming to southern West Virginia and eastern Kentucky to find out why there was so much blood shed between these two families. Find out yourself this July at Theatre West Virginia.

This classic outdoor drama will make its way to Allen Media Strategies client Theatre West Virginia's 1,260 seat Cliffside Amphitheatre at Grandview in the New River Gorge National River outside Beckley, W. Va. beginning July 5. With show dates including July 5 through 8, July 11 through 15, performances begin nightly at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by visiting Theatre West Virginia Box Office or by calling 304-256-6800.
