Triune Entertainment will mount the premiere staging of the highly anticipated The Prince of Egypt in March 2026 in the Metro Washington D.C. area. This epic musical of biblical proportions features music and lyrics by Broadway legend Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell) and a book by Award winning Philip LaZebnik (Mulan, Pocahontas). Matt Moore will direct the mainstage production with Cate Murray as Music Director and Christie Dubnansky as Choreographer.

Journey through the wonders of Ancient Egypt as Ramses and Moses, two young men raised together as brothers in a kingdom of privilege, find themselves suddenly divided by a secret past. One must rule as Pharaoh, the other must rise up and free his true people; both face a destiny that will change history forever.

Leading the talented cast is Andreas Moffett as Moses and Luke Tessier as Ramses. Moffett is a classically trained vocalist but may be best known for his critically acclaimed performances as Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde the Musical, both with City of Fairfax Theatre Company. Tessier is a rising star in local theatre, having recently starred as Frankie Valli in the sold-out run of Jersey Boys with Fauquier Community Theatre. They are joined by Jessica Long as Miriam, Jennifer Ayers as Nefetari, Brad Broemmel as Seti, Renee De Ponte as Tuya, Sean Pflueger as Hotep, Katy Benko Miner as Yocheved, Joseph Allen as Aaron, Paul Correll as Jethro, Caroline Gaitonde as Keturah, Lydia Gaitonde as Leah, and Camille Edwards as Young Miram. The full cast list is now online at triuneentertainment.com/princeofegypt.
