Merry Wives, adapted by Jocelyn Bioh and directed by Taylor Reynolds, brings a contemporary twist to Shakespeare's classic farce. Set in a vibrant South Harlem community, the story follows the debauched Falstaff as he schemes to win the affections of two clever West African wives. As their husbands grow suspicious, the wives devise a plan to outwit the would-be homewrecker, revealing their wit and strength. This production marks Reynolds' directorial debut at the Shakespeare Theatre Company.
