Woolly Mammoth Announces Show Us Your iCrazy
Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company announces "Show Us Your iCrazy": a day of events on Friday, March 11th documenting the release of the iPad2 in conjunction with its upcoming production of The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs. This day will focus on telling the stories of Apple fanatics across the DC metro area, and will be documented on Woolly's social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and the Woolly Blog. "Show Us Your iCrazy" will also feature a one-day only Box Office promotion.
Activities include:
Apple store reporters: Woolly Mammoth staff members will be reporting from the lines at three Apple store locations--Bethesda, Georgetown, and Pentagon City. They will be talking to people in line, hearing their tales of Apple lust, and taking photos and videos of the crowds to be posted on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and the Woolly Mammoth blog.Follow the hashtag: #ShowUsYouriCrazy to receive all the live updates from Woolly reporters.
QR code t-shirts: Woolly reporters will be wearing t-shirts with a "QR" code on the back, which can be scanned by barcode readers and smart phones and will bring up the Woolly Mammoth website.
One-day only Box Office promotion: anyone who can display their "Jobs (Apple)" Foursquare badge to the Woolly Box Office on Friday March 11th can purchase a ticket to The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs for the price of an app ($0.99). *Only one Jobs badge ticket per order, and is subject to availability. Available for purchase in person only on Friday March 11th from 10am-6pm.
