Round House Theatre Producing Artistic Director Ryan Rilette announces the appointment of Sarah Sexton to the position of Director of Development. In this position, Sarah will work with the Round House team to achieve fundraising goals, engage sponsors, and advance the theater's development strategy. She assumed her new position on July 15, 2013.

Sarah Sexton comes to Round House from a lifelong background in the arts. She completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University and completed certificate work in fundraising at Villanova University. She has worked for several major arts organizations, including Arena Stage, Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Arden Theatre Company. Sarah recently returned to her alma mater to guest lecture on "Grant Writing for the Artist."

In discussing her appointment, Sarah said, "I am delighted and honored to join Round House's staff at such an auspicious time. We have a great season planned and a wonderful group of supporters -it's thrilling to be a part of that." Rilette said, "We are excited to welcome Sarah to the Round House team. She brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of fundraising and is a passionate lover of theater - a perfect fit for us!"
