Rocknoceros, the group that has dominated the Washington, D.C. children's music scene since its inception in 2005, will give a full, fun and fantastic concert for preschoolers and their families at McLean's Alden Theatre at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 22. Tickets are $12, 8 for McLean tax district residents. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

Rocknoceros (pronounced like rhinoceros) is comprised of Coach Cotton, Williebob and Boogie Woogie Bennie. The three bandmates grew up in Northern Virginia and have been friends since early childhood, but the idea for the band came when Coach Cotton began raising two young boys of his own. The group has won seven Washington Area Music Awards and is featured in an ongoing Video-on-Demand television show offered through Cox Communication. Together, Rocknoceros is able to cover a dizzying range of musical styles in each set. From Tin Pan Alley to the shores of Jamaica, the band moves from genre to genre with ease.
