Naked Girls Reading to Present WE CAN DO IT, 7/10

By:

"You've always had the power my dear; you just had to learn it for yourself." Join us as we celebrate our month of independence with stories of female empowerment real and fictional, new and old, and what it really means to be female at Naked Girls Reading Presents: We Can Do It. The power is within us all and needs to be shared to grow. Cherokee Rose is delighted to return to the DC Arts Center with the Ferocious GiGi Holliday, Alice Darling and special guest Pria Puss July 10th at 10pm.

Mark your calendars for August 14th at 10 pm, when our annual competition returns...it's Naked Girls Reading Presents: So You Wanna Be a Naked Girl. One lucky lady will be chosen by YOUR votes to join us as our very special guest for the September Funny Bone performance, and - who knows? - may be called upon for other, future shows!

We will begin taking entries for So You Wanna Be a Naked Girl on 7/1/15. The deadline for entries is midnight on 7/31/15. Contestants must be over 21 years of age, female, and comfortable with promoting their status as a contestant. When entering the competition, please send your name/stage name, title, author, and a short (2-3 sentence) description of the piece you would like to read to Cherokee Rose, Producer, at nakedgirlsreadingdc@yahoo.com
