Fresh from its second consecutive Helen Hayes Awards Recommended production, the horror and suspense theatre company Molotov Theatre Group is bringing "The Margins" by David Skeele to the DC stage in April. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays, April 2-April 26 at 7:30 PM at the DC Arts Center, 2438 18th St, NW, Washington, DC 20009. Tickets are $25, and are available through the Molotov web site (www.molotovtheatre.org). Press nights begin Saturday, April 4.

"The Margins" is directed by Carl Brandt Long, of Grain of Sand Theatre, with musical composition and sound design by Gregory Thomas Martin, lighting design by Pete Vargo, and set design by Rachel Marie Wallace. Special effects are designed by The Jokesters,

The ensemble cast comprises Adam R. Adkins, Jen Bevan, Yoni Gray, Kate Jeffries, Elliott Kashner and Brian McDermott.

Loosely based on the true story of The Philip Experiment in Toronto in the 1970s, five paranormal investigators and a skeptical reporter visit a haunted manor to create and raise a spirit as a psychic experiment - until that experiment goes horribly better than they imagined.

A WARNING FOR AUDIENCE MEMBERS: "The Margins" contains adult language, realistic and hyper-realistic portrayals of violence, fog and strobe effects. Parents of children under 13 are cautioned

Run time: Approximately 65 minutes with no intermission. The Box Office opens at 7: 00 PM, and doors open at 7:15 PM. The show begins promptly at 7:30 PM, with no late seating and no readmission.
