Terrence McNally puts "La Divina" center stage as she inspires, prods and terrorizes her students, while offering a riveting, penetrating portrait of her own life on stage and off. Memories from La Scala, her marriages, and her art abound. Inspired by a series of master classes Maria Callas conducted at Juilliard toward the end of her career, McNally's theatrical aria is a valentine to the legendary Callas and his love of opera. Featuring Washington favorite, Ilona Dulaski, in this inspirational reprisal of a Tony Award winning Broadway smash.
