By:

Three local high school musicians won cash scholarships for successfully competing in the 2011 James C. Macdonald Fine Arts Scholarship Competition, sponsored by the McLean Community Center (MCC) and the Alden Theatre. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

MCC 2010-2011 Governing Board Chairman David Sanders presented the awards at the final competition-performance, which was held on Friday, May 20, in the Alden Theatre.
