Doris, Dolly and the Dressing Room Divas returns to Gilded Balloon Patter House for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with original cast members Gail Watson, Frances Thorburn, and Clare Waugh reprising their roles. Written and directed by Morag Fullarton with musical direction by Hilary Brooks, the show follows three make-up girls as they share backstage tales from the dressing rooms of Doris Day, Dolly Parton, Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, and Julie Andrews. The production weaves together stories of absent fathers, gay husbands, flunked auditions, and sublime singing, all delivered through sharp wit and close harmonies.
