BIG BABY at The Hope Theatre

26-year-old spoken-word artist, Rene, is navigating the aftermath of her first queer relationship, which ended when her ex, who was grappling with her own closeted identity, failed to fully embrace queerness and in turn, their connection. Now single, Rene embarks on a new chapter of self-discovery, approaching dating with a renewed perspective. She begins to unravel the question of who she truly is and what she wants in a partner. This comedy explores the complexities of coming out, first relationships, lost love, setting boundaries and choosing peace over persistence.
