YETI'S DEMON DIVE BAR Announced for the Brighton Fringe
Fresh from smash hit, critically acclaimed runs in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne ("raucously entertaining **** - Herald Sun), your new favourite comedy duo Yeti's present their no-holds-barred, risqué musical extravaganza: Yeti's Demon Dive Bar! at Brighton Fringe.
Brought to life by the creative minds behind the internationally acclaimed musical comedy duo EastEnd Cabaret, Yeti's is a high-energy and hysterical combination of comically bizarre characters, relentlessly catchy songs and the story of the strangest little dive bar in town.
Your hosts, Frankie Doom (demonic diva) and the "Furious" Fang (one-sixteenth werewolf and proud of it) introduce a line-up of characters to rival The Addams Family; from the overly amorous yeti who owns the bar to a sleazy severed head and the cosmic stylings of the Psychedelic Nuns. Chaotic yet captivating, the full cavalcade of weirdos are all played by just two performers.
Audiences all over the world have been seduced by this duo and their previous creation, the gin-loving, globe- trotting, accordion-wielding, multi-award-winning double act EastEnd Cabaret. Packed full of salacious original songs and stories delivered with razor-sharp wit, undeniable musical skill and "jaw-achingly funny character comedy" (Backstage Pass), their previous shows have received 5 star reviews and played to sold-out audiences at Soho Theatre London, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. They have been named as one of The Hospital Club's 'Top 100' influential artists, won 'Best Cabaret' act at Adelaide Fringe, 'Best Musical Variety Act' for the London Cabaret Awards, and received nominations for the TO&ST award and Fringe World's 'Best International Show'. The boisterously off-beat lovechild of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Mighty Boosh, Yeti's Demon Dive Bar is the creation of Jennifer Byrne, Vicky Falconer-Pritchard and Tom Velvick.
