Wilton's Music Hall Presents INTO THY HANDS May 31- July 2

By: May. 12, 2011

INTO THY HANDS plays 31ST MAY - 2ND JULY. Join us this summer as Wilton's is transformed into a decadent English Court, with sensuous textures and suspended planets.

Kings and Queens, science and discovery, loyalties old and new, Into Thy Hands is an undeniably powerful play that will encourage you to think about questions that are as pertinent today as they were 400 years ago...

A co-production with the innovative Jericho House, Into Thy Hands is about faith, sex, and one man's desperate attempt to keep body and soul together in the turmoil of a changing world. Set exactly four hundred years ago, it re-imagines the role of John Donne as translator of Galileo, accomplice in the translation of the King James Bible, and as a popular songwriter of the restless English Court.
