Waterside Announces Christmas Show: Raymond Briggs' FATHER CHRISTMAS ImageFollowing the success of last year's dazzling Christmas show Raymond Briggs' The Bear, Waterside in Sale, Trafford is delighted to announce this year's Christmas show Raymond Briggs' Father Christmas. This heart-warming tale is brought to you by Pins and Needles - the team behind last year's sensational The Bear - and the Lyric Hammersmith.

Step inside the bloomin' brilliant world of Raymond Briggs' Father Christmas this winter at Waterside. Children of all ages will delight in Briggs' grumpy but loveable Father Christmas as he gets ready for his busiest day of the year: Christmas Eve. Watch as he prepares his Christmas deliveries, feeds his reindeer and finally takes flight into the snowy night.

With plenty of live music, songs and playful puppetry, this critically acclaimed adaptation of Raymond Briggs' much loved book is a delightful festive treat for children to enjoy.

Darren Adams, Manager of Waterside, says: "After a record breaking year and unprecedented audience feedback for The Bear, we are thrilled to be working with the same team to bring another Raymond Briggs' favourite, Father Christmas to Waterside this Winter. Joining forces with Pins and Needles Productions are the highly prestigious Lyric Hammersmith, who have toured the production extensively and received critical acclaim from both audiences and critics alike. We are delighted to offer another enchanting show for our young audiences of the highest calibre."
