Unique Wedding-Themed Party Night At St Brides Church As Part Of Fundraising

Organisers behind the Save Our St Bride's campaign (#SOStBride's) are planning a fabulous themed ladies night like no other, with their latest fundraising event on Sat 9 June.
For one night only, Brides at St Brides is calling all blushing brides, beautiful bridesmaids, and even dashing groomsmen, to dig out their old wedding attire and walk down the aisle for a great night of entertainment with music, dancing and fizz at St Bride's Church in this fantastic retro wedding party.
With the upcoming Royal Wedding, the whole country will have wedding fever in the run up to the highly anticipated nuptials of Prince Harry and Megan Markle this May, and Brides at St Brides is the perfect chance to join in the fun and continue the celebrations.
The event was originally planned for Sat 5 May, but due to the organisers ill health has been re-scheduled for June.
Organiser Emma Dears, who launched the Save Our St Bride's campaign, said: "It has been such unfortunate timing that I suffered an injury and was not able to go ahead with the event in May. But I didn't want to disappoint those who had already booked tickets by cancelling the fundraiser, so we have re-arranged it for June. It will give all those blushing brides and bridesmaids extra time to brush up on their best wedding dance moves!
"Not only will it be an exciting and fun-filled evening, but all the proceeds will be going to a great cause with all money raised going towards the Save Our St Brides Fund."
Hosted by Radio City's Pete Price, the evening will include a screening of the hilarious 2011 comedy film Bridesmaids starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph and Rose Byrne. There will also be a pop-up bar to purchase fizz and cocktails, as well as a buffet kindly provided by Living Ventures.
No wedding party would be complete without a disco to end the night, so prepare to showcase your best moves on the dancefloor with a live DJ playing a whole host of cheesy tunes including all the classic wedding favourites.
There will also be lots of prizes to be won for the most adventurously dressed guests, and a fabulous and exclusive free retro cocktail for all those who attend in wedding attire.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards the upkeep of the beautiful Georgian place of worship. Recent events in the campaign have included A Night of Musicals featuring leading West End performers Emma Dears and Craig Price; An Evening of Opera which featured internationally-acclaimed classical tenor Roy Weissensteiner; and a Choirfest and summer fair.
