Top Note Arts to Stage ORDINARY DAYS at King's Arms Theatre, Salford, June 16-21

By:

Exciting new theatre company, Top Note Arts, is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for its upcoming fringe production of Adam Gwon's vibrant and heartfelt musical, Ordinary Days. The production will run at the King's Arms Theatre, Salford, Monday 16th - Saturday 21st June 2014.

Ordinary Days features music and lyrics by Adam Gwon and will be directed by Leah Fogo with musical director Scott Stait.

From the bustling streets to the quiet rooftops, this fresh new musical presents a series of funny and fortuitous events, proving that ordinary days can be simply extraordinary. Through a score of striking and memorable songs, the audience is invited to reevaluate their own life stories and take a step back to view the big picture.

Ordinary Days centres around four New Yorkers and the serendipitous moments that link them together.

Would-be artist Warren is played by Oliver Yank, while Aimée Horwich will take on the role of neurotic Modern Lit student Deb. Matt Concannon will play the easy-going Jason and Laura Coard completes the quartet as Jason's troubled girlfriend, Claire.

Ordinary Days will be the fourth musical to be staged at Manchester's up-and-coming venue, The King's Arms, which is fast becoming home to the North West's rapidly growing fringe theatre scene - attracting actors, musicians and creatives from across the country.

Director Leah Fogo said: "I'm delighted to be working on such an inspiring show with this group of talented young actors. The material is fresh and exciting, yet it's based on ordinary situations - things that happen everyday that we can all relate to.

"It's a privilege to work alongside MD Scott Stait, sifting through the beautiful music and lyrics and unearthing parts of the characters that can then be explored. It's a fantastic process and we can't wait to put the finished piece in front of an audience."

This production is by arrangement with R&H Theatricals.
