September and October promise a feast of drama, dance, music and a series of family favourites for audiences of all ages to enjoy.

Legendary 70s folk-rock pioneers Lindisfarne will be strutting their stuff on Sunday 30 September | 7.30pm with a classic five-piece line up of long-time members fronted by original founder-member Rod Clements,

"We're delighted to be returning to Coventry after what feels like too long an absence. I'm very proud to be bringing this latest incarnation of the band, which goes back to the very roots of what Lindisfarne and its audience is all about." (Rod Clements - Lindisfarne)

And there's drama - can you be tempted? From the author of the Narnia series of books, CS Lewis' The Screwtape Letters takes to the stage on Wednesday 3 October | 7.30pm. This award-winning satirical comedy is a funny and insightful look at the art of temptation, spiritual warfare and the power of the devil.

Thank you for the music - tribute show, Waterloo - The Best of Abba promises to reboot the summer party vibe in a two-hour performance celebrating all the favourite tracks from the iconic band in a full concert experience on Friday 5 October | 7.30pm.

A show that promises to be a Thriller - Saturday 13 October | 7.30pm is Michael starring Ben Bowman. The show comes from the London stage and is now touring throughout the UK. Ben, a lifelong fan of Michael Jackson, has honed his looks and moves as a heartfelt tribute to the legendary singer:

"I've done nothing surgically. I spend an hour and a half doing the makeup, getting the contours of his face... I'm often asked if I use prosthetics but it's just make-up. After doing all that I have to warm up my body and voice. The whole prep before a show takes two hours. You have to be so accurate... you can't even have a sock out of place" (Ben Bowman - Michael)

From page to stage, favourite tales for all the family - Tabby McTat, The Twits and Doctor Dolittle make for ideal half term and after-school treats. These productions are all part of national tours and provide the perfect introduction to theatre for younger audiences with something for all the family - whatever their age - to enjoy.

Booking has also opened for the theatre's festive family treat, Peter Pan - take a trip to Neverland for the adventure of a lifetime to a magical world full of faith, and trust and pixie dust! This retelling of JM Barrie's classic has been especially adapted for The Albany stage and features puppetry, an original music score and swordplay in an action-packed adventure full of friendship and a festive sprinkling of fairy dust.

Tickets for Ballet Theatre UK's production of Beauty & the Beast on Friday 12 October and Jason Donovan & His Amazing Midlife Crisis on Thursday 4 October are selling fast - these and the rest of the season's programme can be booked online at www.albanytheatre.co.uk, via the box office on 02476 99 89 64 or in person at the theatre on Albany Road, Coventry.
