Telly Leung Returns to London for One Night Only

Live At Ze?del continues its season of new shows, each with a different musical theme, hosted by lyricist Mark Petty and with Musical Direction by Henry Brennan.

For one night only, Crazy Coqs is thrilled to welcome Broadway's Telly Leung as he returns to London for his first solo concert since 2013. He comes direct from his star-turn as the title role in Disney's Aladdin on Broadway with his brand-new cabaret, Sing Happy. Telly will present an eclectic evening of music and personal backstage anecdotes that takes an intimate and revealing look at the ups and downs of what it takes to be a professional singer, from joyful Broadway openings to a career-threatening event that almost ended it all.

Telly Leung is a New York City native. His Broadway and national touring credits include 'Aladdin' in Disney's Aladdin on Broadway, In Transit, Allegiance (with George Takei and Lea Salonga), Godspell, Rent (final Broadway company), 'Boq' in Wicked (original Chicago company), Pacific Overtures, and Flower Drum Song. In 2010, he starred as 'Angel' in Rent at the Hollywood Bowl opposite Wayne Brady, directed by Neil Patrick Harris.

Television audiences will remember him as 'Wes the Warbler' on Glee, as well as his guest star appearances on Instinct, Odd Mom Out, Deadbeat, and Law and Order: Criminal Intent. He appears with the final Broadway company of Rent in the 2008 film, Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway. He is featured on many original Broadway cast recordings and he has released two solo albums, I'll Cover You (2012) and Songs for You (2016) on Yellow Sound Label.
