Summer Movies With Afternoon Tea Launches At The Bristol Hippodrome

The Bristol Hippodrome is today delighted to announce it will be screening a selection of hit Disney films in its Piano Bar this summer, complete with mouth-watering afternoon teas.

The theatre's brand-new Summer Movies and Afternoon Tea series will see four Disney classics - Beauty and the Beast (August 2-3), Toy Story (August 9-10), Alice in Wonderland (August 16-17) and The Lion King (August 23-24) - all screened inside the ground floor Piano Bar using a giant projector.

Guests will be able to relax while watching each film with a delicious afternoon tea, provided by legendary Bristol lunch institution Sandwich Sandwich.

Afternoon tea choices include freshly-filled sandwiches, hearty scones and mouth-watering cakes, all accompanied by refillable teas and coffees*.

The film screenings come at an exciting time for The Bristol Hippodrome, as its auditorium is now closed until September 7th to allow for the record-breaking tour of Disney's The Lion King to return to the theatre next month.

A Bristol Hippodrome spokesperson said: "We're so excited to give families the chance to do something different with us during the school holidays and are really pleased to be launching the Summer Movies with Afternoon Tea series.
