"Dimwits we can execute any day. And we do. But you execute a writer, it sends out a signal, y'know?"

The only duty of a storyteller is to tell a story. But when the stories escape from the pages they are written on...what then?

An interrogation and a spate of gruesome murders in a totalitarian state, create a contrasting backdrop to a twisted imagination rich with equally gruesome and equally grim tales.

Come with us to the Marlborough Theatre, where our ragtag gaggle of performers and musicians will bring a new twist to Martin McDonagh's award-winning play. Our talented cast take on the dark humour in a stark Orwellian reality and add live music with an original score to nudge tragic tales from a broken mind to life.

Slurring Words Theatre Company want to show you a puzzle without an answer. We want to give you sympathy for murderers. We want to take you to once-upon-a-time in a land as close or as far away as you can handle. Come with us to the Marlborough Theatre and we promise to tell a great tale.

Performances run 14th to 17th November 2017 - 7.30pm at the Marlborough Pub and Theatre, 4 Princes Street, Brighton BN2 1RD. Tickets for the show can be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3079782: £9.50/£7.50 concs. For further information, phone the Box Office at 0800 411 8881.
