Sell a Door Theatre Company launches its 2013 season with a UK Tour of William Shakespeare's most renowned comedy A Midsummer Nights Dream.

Fairies, Hapless Actors, Star-Crossed Lovers, Disapproving Fathers and of course oodles of Magic. Hermia loves Lysander and Lysander adores Hermia. But Demetrius desires Hermia while Helena dotes on Demetrius. All of this gets spun on its head at the intervention of Oberon and his sprightly fairy, Puck.

Director Bryn Holding, Sell A Door Theatre Company Associate and Director of previous Shakespeare Production Twelfth Night and The Comedy of Errors, said of the production - "This is the third Shakespeare production that I have been asked to direct for Sell A Door Theatre Company. Each year our ambition grows as we develop a language for the way in which we work with the Classical texts. In the past I have worked on very successful productions of Twelfth Night and The Comedy of Errors. We have decided once again to look at another one of shakespeare's comedies, perhaps his most famous and certainly most performed. It will be a journey of exciting exploration, as we delve deeper into the world of the forest, the court and the 'fairy kingdom'."

The Tour will open at the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole and Sella Door is thrilled to be revisiting its regular venues such as the Norwich Playhouse, Hull New Theatre, Stamford Arts Center and Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh as well as brand new theatres such as the Hawthorn Theatre, Radlet Center and Blackpool Grand Theatre.

Casting is still to be announced, as is full touring schedule. For more information on Sell A Door Theatre Company's 2013 season, visit www.selladoor.com.
